Tent of Refuge and Hope Ministry

We at the Tent of Refuge and Hope Ministry welcome you to our site with love, joy and peace in our hearts. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has placed it in our hearts to assemble, fellowship, and minister in this place He calls the Tent of Refuge and Hope Ministry. It is a tent because it is temporary, as our permanent home is in heaven. It is a place of refuge for all who are weary and burdened physically and spiritually in this world. And it is a place of hope for we share with all the eternal hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you have never met Him, we invite you to meet Jesus Christ today, whom this site is inspired by and whom this site is dedicated to, through His word, the word of our testimonies, prophesies and visions the Holy Spirit gave to us, poetry inspired by the Holy Spirit, and our praise < worship sections.

He is our Heavenly Father and He is calling His precious children home. You are one of them.

Hebrews 3:15 says
Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Come home...

Do You Know Jesus?

All of us here at the Tent of Hope and Refuge have met and been touched by the Lord personally. It is our prayer that you also come to know and experience Him for yourself. Our God is a very personal God who desires to have a personal relationship with each and every one of you. He is not a mighty being who stands afar and judges, rules, and reigns with an iron rod. He is a loving, forgiving God, who has been separated from His children and longs for them to return and be reconciled with Him. He desires you. He longs for you..He is reaching out to you. He wants to wash away your sins and give you everlasting abundant life. Won't you come home??...

Who is Jesus Christ?

He is the son of the Living God, who humbled Himself and came to earth to atone for the sins of the world. He died to pay the penalty for our sins and was resurrected on the 3rd day so we might have life in Him. He offers this gift to all. It is called SALVATION.

He says in..

John 11:25 "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

John 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever."

John 12:46 "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness."

1 John 2:2 "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

Why do we need a Savior?

The word of God says, we are born into a world of sin, inheriting a sinful nature, being born of the seed of Adam. Because of this, we have been separated from God since birth and hell is our destination unless we turn from our sins and come back to God.

Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God".

And Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

We cannot be reconciled with our Father in Heaven, who is perfect purity and holiness, unless our sins are atoned for. And we cannot atone for our sins by ourselves, through our own works, so great are our sins. You might not think so. You might think you are a good person and your sins are not so great, but to God there is no little sin or big sin. Every sin is great in the eyes of a righteous and just God. If you have broken one of God's commandments, you have violated God's law, thus you have broken all of them.

Matthew 5:28 says "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

We are in need of a savior.

How can He save us?

God in His mercy and grace, loving us with an everlasting love, saw our helpless state and sent His son Jesus to atone for our sins. The bible says in .

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus Christ was the pure lamb of God, the only sacrifice deemed worthy to atone for all the sins of all of fallen mankind. He took our sins upon himself and was crucified on a cross, paying the penalty for all of our sins for all of eternity. He was raised from the dead on the 3rd day, conquering hell, death and the grave. If you believe that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again, then we believe that your sins are washed away and you are BORN AGAIN (reconciled) of the Spirit of God, not the will or flesh of man.

How do I receive this Jesus?

The word says in.

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Simply pray."Lord, I believe you died on a cross for my sins, and you rose again. I repent for my sins and renounce the works of the devil. Wash me clean with your precious blood. I invite you into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior".

It is that easy. Salvation is a free gift from God. Jesus Christ died and paid the penalty for your sins and mine. Simply accept this gift and it is yours for eternity, absolutely free...such is the love of God for you, immeasurable and unconditional.

Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

This is the only way to Heaven. The Lord says in.`

John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Whats next?

If you have received the Lord today, email us. We would like to pray with you and rejoice with the angels.

For the 15th Chapter of Luke vs 7 says, there is great rejoicing in Heaven over one person who repents and receives the Lord. You are now a child of the most high God and your life for Christ has just begun.

Be excited.

Sundays at 10:30AM for Service

(Joshua 3:9 "Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God").

Hear the words of the Lord and let your spirits feed and grow in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 10 They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.)

Let your souls be set free and your bodies healed for the word of the Lord is truth (John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free)

And wherever the word is preached, healing and all other miracles follow (1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power). (Luke 9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.)
